INHABIT
We worked with the talented team at INHABIT, an international architecture & interior design firm based in Spain, on the MARTECH office in Marbella, Spain where they installed a 14 foot Tracer Bar 2 and a 4-foot Tracer Bar 1.7 in the office common area.
The client was looking to create a gathering space with a long seated bar area and the Tracer Bars were the perfect fit for their vision. This area was designed to give space for informal gatherings as well as being able to host talks or after work celebrations.
Recently, we asked the team at INHABIT to tell us more about their design background and philosophy.
Please tell us more about how/why you became a designer!
Design has always been a passion of ours, stemming from a deep appreciation for creating spaces that evoke emotion and enhance everyday experiences. It's a journey that constantly inspires and challenges us.
How would you describe your design style?
At INHABIT, our design style is characterized by a harmonious blend of contemporary sophistication and timeless elegance. We strive to create spaces that are not only visually stunning but also function seamlessly to meet the unique needs and personalities of our clients.
What is the best part of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of being an interior designer is witnessing the transformation of spaces and the joy it brings to our clients. It's incredibly fulfilling to see our designs come to life and make a positive impact on people's daily lives.
How did you come across Luke Lamp Co.?
We are always on the lookout for exceptional and innovative design elements to incorporate into our projects. Luke Lamp Co. caught our attention through their commitment to craftsmanship and unique lighting solutions, aligning perfectly with our design ethos.
What are some trends that you see now that will stand the test of time? Or is there a trend you are shying away from?
Timeless design elements such as sustainable materials, versatile neutrals, and a focus on functionality are trends that we believe will endure. While we appreciate trends, we tend to shy away from overly ephemeral fads, ensuring our designs have a lasting impact.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received, either personally or professionally?
One invaluable piece of advice that resonates with us is to always stay true to your design intuition. Trusting your instincts and maintaining authenticity in your work fosters a unique and genuine design identity. It's a principle that guides us in crafting spaces that truly reflect the essence of our clients and the vision of INHABIT.
